"Wisdom arises through the simple act of giving someone or something your full attention.  Attention is primordial intelligence, consciousness itself.
It joins the perceiver and the perceived in a unifying field of awareness.  It is the healer of separation.”

Private coaching and small classes prepare the actor to audition with confidence and work in front of the camera with subtlety and skill.

In film, gestures and responses must be conveyed within an established frame. Acting must be subtle, yet honest, energized, real.

Drawing from highly effective exercises and methods from Meisner to Stanislavsky, Leslie helps the actor achieve the desired goal of truthful, compelling characters. Actors learn to make specific choices about the character for the audition and to develop that character within a role. Focus is on connecting to the material, clarifying intention, exploring the subtle nuances of relationship, making effective choices and finding the Truth of each moment.

Scenes are from current TV episodics, pilots, and films, and are chosen based on roles the actor would be called in to read for. Actors’ work is filmed and reviewed.
